Terms of use

Updated 3 November 2026. This English text is the official version.

The service

Promptslib hosts prompts and short methods. Sample cards are examples. Counts and the latest list are prompts that have been published. A sample is not counted as published.

The interface is offered in several languages. The text of a prompt stays in the language its author selected.

Accounts

You need an account to save a prompt. You are responsible for activity under that account. Keep the password to yourself. You can log out from the header.

Your prompts

You keep the copyright in text you write. You grant Promptslib a non-exclusive license to host and display that text for the audience you chose, for as long as it stays on the service.

Readers can copy a public prompt. A copy someone has already taken is outside our control, including after you edit or remove the prompt.

A personal prompt is stored for you. A closed prompt is stored for you and shown to the accounts you name. Neither is listed in the public library. A set stays private to your account.

Acceptable use

Do not save sexual content involving anyone under 18.

Do not save instructions for breaking into a system, stealing credentials, or damaging a system or a person.

Do not save another person’s private information, a password, or copyrighted text you do not have the right to share.

Do not spam, and do not interfere with the service.

We may remove a prompt, or close an account, that breaks these rules.

Review

A public prompt waits for review before it is listed. A reviewer may accept it, decline it, or ask for changes, and may leave a note. While a newer version waits, the last accepted text stays public.

A personal or closed prompt is not put in that queue. It is still stored.

Not advice

A prompt about health, law, or work is text for a task. It is not a diagnosis, a legal opinion, or professional advice. A health prompt may help you prepare questions for a visit. It does not replace that visit.

We do not promise that a model will produce a particular result from a prompt.

Availability and liability

The library is provided as available. We may suspend it for repair, abuse, or a failure of the host.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. If you use Promptslib as a consumer, you keep the rights of the place where you live.

Ending

You may stop using the library and ask us to delete the account through https://aipractics.com. We may stop offering the library. Prompts that readers have already copied can remain with those readers.

Changes

We post changes on this page and change the date above. If you keep using the library after that date, these terms apply. A change does not by itself rewrite the audience you already chose for a saved prompt.
