Community guidelines

Updated 3 November 2026. This English text is the official version.

Write the task

Start from a real task. Say what the answer should look like. A short summary helps a reader decide whether to open it.

Use at most eight tags. Keep each tag to 32 characters. The text of the prompt stays in the language you select for it. The interface does not translate it.

Choose an audience

Public means anyone can read the prompt after review, and anyone can copy it. Personal means only you. Closed means the accounts you name.

A set is several of your prompts in one private list. Saving a single prompt does not create a set. Each save of a prompt stores a new revision.

What to leave out

Leave out other people’s private information, passwords, and access keys.

Leave out copyrighted text you do not have the right to store here.

Leave out sexual content involving anyone under 18.

Leave out instructions for unauthorized access, credential theft, or damaging a system.

Do not present a prompt as a diagnosis or as a legal opinion. A health prompt may prepare questions for a visit, and it should say that it is not a diagnosis.

Reviews

A review scores the prompt, not the person who wrote it. Scores run from 1 to 5. Text with the score is optional. The author does not score their own prompt.

Review of a public prompt

A public prompt is listed after a reviewer accepts it. A reviewer may accept it, decline it, or ask for a change, and may leave a note. The last accepted text stays visible while a newer version waits.

Samples

Cards marked as samples are examples. They are not counted in the published totals.
